Travogen cream is a topical medication used to treat fungal skin infections such as athlete’s foot, jock itch, and ringworm. It contains the active ingredient terbinafine, which is an antifungal medication that works by stopping the growth of the fungus that is causing the infection. The cream is applied to the affected area once or twice a day for one to four weeks, depending on the severity of the infection. Travogen cream is available by prescription and over-the-counter in some countries.
To use Travogen cream, you should:
- Wash and dry the affected area thoroughly before applying the cream
- Apply a thin layer of cream over the affected area, covering it completely
- Rub the cream in gently and completely
- Wash your hands after applying the cream
- Continue to use the cream for the full treatment time, even if the symptoms disappear after a few days.
Like all medicines, Travogen can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Uncommon (may affect up to 1 in 100 people): itching or dryness at the application site, eczema, vesicles, contact dermatitis.
